PICMET 2012 Update from Vancouver

This PICMET 2012 has more than 70 papers(co-authors are accumulated) presented from Japan. Many researchers and business professionals came from JAIST, Tokyo Univ, and the other organizations, and presented wonderful presentations. My presentation, Research program assessment from research and social impacts, was presented on 7/31 afternoon. I received several questions, which are good signs of the presentation improvement.
The student award is going to Vitavin Ittipanuvat, and Yuya Kajikawa, The University of Tokyo. Congratulation!
On 7/31, PICMET award dinner session was held at Sheraton Vancouver.  Just before the desert time, I introduced Kanazawa city as the PICMET 2014 location, following San Jose presentation where PICMET 2013 is planed.

On 8/1, Country rep meeting has been finished to introduce PICMET country chapter activities from Japan, Turkey and Germany.
